EMODA | PRODUCT REVIEW

I've never ordered from EMODA Global Webstore before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was super surprised and happy to see the box arrive at my door step a mere four days after ordering (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧

I've been admiring the bulky insole shoes ever since seeing Cheesie wearing it with her tattoo stockings and EMODA's entire aesthetic is something I really love.

EMODA shoe sizing guide under the cut, for those confused about 'Small', 'Medium' and 'Large'.

The white bulky insole shoes were part of EMODA's Spring/Summer collection, so it's been challenging trying to find ways to wear them during the Australian winter and with my dark wardrobe and leggings. For now, they're going to be worn mostly like the above (:

The shoes came beautifully and thoughtfully packaged (GIANT BUBBLE WRAP and also bars to keep the shoes in shape), with the distinctive EMODA mode packaging design.

It was a bit of a splurge, I'll be honest, but I've been looking for comfortable shoes to wear with dresses and summer-y items and I want some good quality shoes to invest in.

I love the clean minimalism of the shoes, the leather is soft and they're incredibly comfortable to stand in, despite the height. They're basically flatforms but with the smallest of inclines to help the arch of the foot sit comfortably. My only concern is keeping them clean (T▽T)

I did take a bit of a risk with these shoes because they literally only came in 'Small', 'Medium' and 'Large' and the 'small' was already sold out so I got 'medium'.

They fit, but my feet are quite narrow so it's slightly loose if I'm just wearing thin stockings or barefoot. The ankle strap plays the key role, but be careful not to make it too tight because I got some blisters when I attempted to wear it barefoot (don't do it - wear low socks).

Here's the EMODA shoe sizing guide - I asked them via Facebook:

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and excited to wear it more when the days start to heat up a bit~
