In which I discover the panorama function of my camera and everything is beautiful.

Muttonbird Island was literally a 15min walk from our holiday house, a straight path from Coffs Harbour Jetty.
It was such a relaxing, tranquil afternoon adventure: meandering up to the island through the beach - only a handful of people on the island, watching seagulls hovering beside people eating fresh fish and chips, wrapped in newspaper, and the afternoon sun turning the distant mountains golden. Standing at the lookout with the smell of the sea, cool breeze in your hair and watching the waves crash on rock.
Much bliss.

Plenty of lookouts, including informative signs about the birds who migrate to the island. Note: 'Fluffy chick' apparently warrants its own step in the life cycle diagram.

I'll be uploading these photos (in larger size) to my Deviantart and Flickr as soon as I can, so look out for them~ One more post to go for the Coffs Harbour recap.
